The Touchdown Baseplate TBP-1 from ARRI is specifically designed to mount the ALEXA 35 for use in live multicam environments. Part of the ALEXA 35 Live ecosystem and the Multicam Support Set, this baseplate is directly compatible with ARRI studio bridge plates and the separately available Touchdown Receiver Plate TRP-1. Combined with the TRP-1, the baseplate allows you to quickly and easily mount and unmount the camera from a tripod, and its self-aligning design improves mounting speed over traditional VCT plates. Rosettes on both the right and left sides of the baseplate offer points for attaching handgrips, and front rod ports provide space for optional rod systems.
